2017 Vespa GTS Touring and GTS Super

The 2017 Vespa GTS is available in two special versions both powered by Euro 4 engines, in the form of the elegant road queen Touring outfitted to face even the longest of journeys, and the GTS Super with a sporting soul.

Standard equipped with the best electronic safety controls such as the ABS braking system and exclusive ASR traction control,  The GTS 300 features benchmark setting technology from the Piaggio Group.

The Special Super Edition of the Vespa embodies the typical Vespa values of style, comfort, safety and outstanding sportiness while citing legendary models of the past. The Vespa GTS Super is the most aggressive Vespa of the large scooter family, that meld together drive, attitude and performance.

The new Vespa GTS Touring represents the Vespa’s vocation to touring. Millions of Vespas, equipped for tourism, have always travelled the roads of the world giving generations the opportunity to know each other, expanding their borders and encountering different cultures.

Developed on the technical basis of the Vespa GTS, the new Touring model is characterised by the evocative windscreen that improves protection without affecting – thanks to its small size – the elegance.

The front luggage rack, along with the rear one and the under-seat compartment, provide excellent load capacity to tackle memorable holidays, alone or in company. The Touring also has a dedicated logo positioned on the leg shield back plate.

The most sporting of the Vespa range continuously evolves and hits new standards of safety, technology, comfort and painstaking attention to detail. All of the Vespa large body scooters boast a spacious helmet compartment, a more comfortable seating position and latest generation instrumentation with plenty of information.

The new series standard features a USB port, located inside the compartment of the leg shield, while the front turn lights house a series of LED that act as day running lights.

The Piaggio Group is the first manufacturer to introduce scooter ASR electronic traction control, once available only on the best motorcycles, which prevents wheelspin. The electronic control package is rounded-off by the ABS, anti-braking system. Both are standard features of the Vespa GTS Touring and GTS Super.

The sophisticated Vespa Multimedia Platform is available on the entire Vespa GTS range. This is the platform that allows smartphone connection to the on-board electronic system to transform it into a multi-function tool.

Your smartphone becomes a full-fledged complex computer able to simultaneously display information such as tachometer, rev meter, and also instantaneous engine power and torque, longitudinal acceleration, instant and average fuel consumption, average speed and battery voltage and much more.

The Vespa GTS range can all fit the optional Vespa Multimedia Platform for mobile phone syncing and a host of additional features.

The smartphone connected to the Vespa Multimedia Platform also makes it possible to display maps and routes as well as identify petrol stations and Service Stations.

The tyre condition monitoring feature takes synergistic advantage of the vehicle and smartphone sensors to monitor tyre wear and inflation, immediately alerting the rider of any potentially critical situations. The general analysis feature monitors vehicle condition.

Vespa GTS Touring and Vespa GTS Super come with a 300cc modern and advanced four-valve four-stroke single-cylinder engine with electronic injection, able to provide a maximum output of 21.2hp at 7750 rpm with maximum torque of 22Nm at only 5000rpm.

These values ensure heightened acceleration readiness and in general extremely brilliant performance, making the new larger body Vespa ideal vehicles for city roads and touring, even long range travels, in full comfort whether alone or with a passenger.
