CFMOTO Day 2026
CFMOTO has used its 2026 CFMOTO Day event in Chengdu to showcase the breadth of its model range, its growing motorsport credentials and the scale of its customer community, with the annual gathering offering a useful snapshot of how quickly the brand continues to expand.
Held this year at Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit in southwest China, the event combined product reveals, customer riding activities, track sessions and a large-scale display of the company’s racing machinery and achievements.

For Australian readers, the significance goes beyond a domestic Chinese brand festival. CFMOTO’s local presence, managed by Mojo Motorcycles, has continued to build momentum through a steady rollout of new and updated models, particularly across the adventure, learner and mid-capacity road segments. Recent examples include the arrival of the updated 450MT, confirmation of the 1000MT-X for Australia, the launch of the 750SR-S, updates for the 450CL-C and a fresh look for the XO Papio Racer.

That local momentum has also extended beyond motorcycles. CFMOTO’s MT adventure range has helped lift the brand’s profile among Australian riders, while its UFORCE side-by-side vehicles have gained favour with rural Australians seeking practical work and recreation machinery.

New models and V4 project draw attention
A key product reveal at Chengdu was the official launch of the 500SR, while CFMOTO also used the event to put its V4 SR-RR back in front of the public with a dynamic domestic appearance. The bike first emerged as a statement of intent at EICMA in 2025, and its latest showing reinforced that the project remains a major halo program for the company.
As previously reported by MCNews.com.au, the V4 SR-RR prototype is built around a 997 cc V4 engine, with CFMOTO claiming output exceeding 210 horsepower and a ready-to-ride weight below 200 kilograms. Whether or not that machine reaches production in near-identical form, it represents a major shift in how the company wants to be perceived globally.

That is relevant in Australia too. CFMOTO is currently broadening its local range with bikes such as the 1000MT-X, 750SR-S, and the revised 450MT, is also investing in high-end engineering projects designed to elevate the brand well beyond its early value-focused reputation.

CFMOTO also displayed the new 150SC-F scooter as part of the broader showcase, underlining the diversity of a line-up that now spans learner-friendly commuters, cruisers, adventure bikes, sports models, scooters and off-road vehicles.
Unlike a conventional static product launch, CFMOTO Day placed heavy emphasis on rider participation. The company says more than 300 riders joined the parade segment, while more than 700 took part in track sessions across the event.

There were also interactive activities built around model families and riding styles, including the SR CUP, MT Challenge mini and CL-C slow-riding challenge. Those activities were backed by recognition ceremonies for owners and community members, underscoring how CFMOTO now views owner engagement as part of its growth strategy.
That approach also resonates in Australia, where the MT range, in particular, has helped build a more visible owner community.
Motorsport and talent development
Motorsport formed another major pillar of the Chengdu event. CFMOTO created a dedicated display zone featuring race bikes, trophies and memorabilia from its various programs, including its Moto3 constructors’ success and off-road competition projects.

Among the machines on display were the company’s world championship-winning Moto3 bike, a current Moto2 race machine, Dakar rally hardware and other milestone competition projects. Riders and ambassadors were also present to meet fans, while the company used the event to further promote its CFMOTO Racing Talent Project.

That junior pathway initiative is designed to identify and support young riders, offering another indication that CFMOTO is trying to build a longer-term racing ecosystem rather than simply use competition as a marketing badge.

That widening product spread, combined with strong visibility in rural Australia through UFORCE side-by-sides, means CFMOTO’s growth here is no longer confined to entry-level buyers alone, as their latest models bristle with brand-name components and offer a very high level of standard specification.
