There is no brand as entrenched in Honda’s racing history as the Repsol brand and so it is no wonder Honda Australia is excited to announce the 2013 Limited Edition Repsol CBR1000RR will be making its way into Honda Dealerships in mid September 2013.

Upon its release in 1992 Honda’s Fireblade revolutionised the Supersport category and Honda’s 2013 CBR1000RR is true to its predecessors embodying superior handling, advanced technology and unbeatable performance.

Taking inspiration from Honda’s MotoGP history, the iconic Repsol colours will complement the unique bodywork of the CBR1000RR and pay tribute to the ongoing success of the Repsol Honda MotoGP team.

The 2013 Limited Edition Repsol CBR1000RR, which will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, can be ordered from Honda Dealerships nationally and boasts an incredibly competitive MLP of $16,890 (this is the Manufacturers List Price and excludes registration and on-road costs).

Honda’s CBR1000RR is powered by a lightweight and compact, liquid-cooled, DOHC inline 4-cylinder 999cc engine that features a Programmed Dual Sequential Fuel Injection System (PGM-DSFI). Add to this Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) and the result is a Supersport machine that is smooth and easy to handle.

Stability and improved traction is guaranteed thanks to the rear suspension featuring a Showa balance-free rear cushion and the front featuring a telescopic inverted Showa big piston front fork.

Every generation of the Honda Fireblade has been characterised by a look of speed and dynamism, the introduction of the Repsol livery for 2013 further highlights the motorcycle’s racing image. With a line-beam headlight and air intake shapes adding even greater sharpness, the Fireblade offers an intrepid front face.
