AMA star Gosselaar heading down under for Super X
The Cool Air Troy Carroll Kawasaki Race Team is proud to announce that AMA SX/MX racer, Chris Gosselaar, will fly in this week from LA to join the team at the final two rounds of the Australasian SuperX at Townsville and Brisbane. Chris will compete in the Lites class on board a Kawasaki KX250F.
The announcement is reassuring news for the team after Lites rider, Jake Pengelly, joined fellow Lites rider, Adam Monea on the injury list after crashing at Wollongong and injuring his knee.
Chris Gosselaar has raced previously for the Monster Energy Kawasaki Pro Circuit Team in the United States and came 2nd overall in the 2006 AMA East Supercross Lites Championships. He also appeared as himself in the feature film, Charlies Angels-Full Throttle.
Cool Air Troy Carroll Kawasaki Racing Manager, Kevin Crutcher, says, “I felt it was very important for the team and all the sponsors that Team Cool Air Troy Carroll Kawasaki Racing were represented in the Lites class at the final rounds of the Super X Championships.
“The addition of Chris to the team for the final rounds on a Team Cool Air Kawasaki KX250F is great for us, Kawasaki and the whole series. Chris is an extremely talented rider and will hopefully get Team Cool Air back on the podium.”
Chris Gosselaar joins the Cool Air Troy Carroll Kawasaki Race Team on board a KX250F at the 6th round of the Australasian SuperX Championships at Townsville on 22 November and at the final round of the series at Brisbane on 29 November.
