—Â Falzon’s Moto2 ride up in smoke
After an incident in the Moto2 race at Sepang, the Technomag-CarXpert bike, assigned to Daniel for this week, was damaged to an extent deemed irreparable by the team. This is in consideration of the limited spare parts each team transports to the 3 overseas rounds and therefore must leave enough spare parts for their rider Dominique Aegerter.
We appreciate all the support everyone has shown us today. This is very upsetting for the team, but we will look for another opportunity in the future.

—Â Daniel Falzon to replace injured Krummenacher for Moto2
Hot on the heels of becoming the 2013 Australian Supersport Champion, Jon Daniels Racing is proud to announce team rider, Daniel Falzon, will take a seat on the grid of the Australian Moto2 class at the upcoming MotoGP being held at Phillip Island, 18-20 October.
TechnoMag CarXpert, a Swiss based team has been in contact following an unfortunate incident at Silverstone which has sidelined their rider, Randy Krummenacher, for the upcoming Moto2 rounds. Jon Daniels Racing received the call during celebrations of our Australian Championship last weekend resulting in negotiations between the two teams with confirmation today. Daniel will be partnered with team mate Dominique Aegerter who is currently running 6th in the Championship.
The opportunity to race with the team will allow Daniel and our team Mechanical Engineer, Jon Falzon, who will accompany Daniel, to experience another level of competition on and off track. We are certain the opportunity can only assist in the further development of Jon Daniels Racing.
We are appreciative that our major partner CATERPILLAR will be staying on board for this elite international event.
