McGuinness replica Fireblade comes with a lap of the TT course
Honda UK is marking John McGuinness MBE’s 30 years of Isle of Man TT competition with an exceptionally limited run of CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP replicas based on the machine he raced at the 2026 TT.
Just 15 examples of the road-legal CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP JM 30th Anniversary will be produced, each wearing a detailed reproduction of McGuinness’ 2026 Honda Racing UK colours.

The £37,730 asking price is substantial even by Fireblade SP standards, but Honda has gone considerably further than simply applying a replica paint scheme. Ownership includes a signed McGuinness replica helmet, a special Isle of Man handover and, for those who want to do it, the opportunity to put the first 37 3/4 miles on their new Fireblade by following McGuinness around the TT Mountain Course.
There is a catch beyond the price. You cannot simply wander into a Honda dealership and place an order. The 15 motorcycles will be sold by invitation.

Thirty years back to where it started
McGuinness made his Isle of Man TT debut in 1996 and Honda Racing UK used the 30-year milestone to take the appearance of his 2026 Superbike all the way back to those beginnings.
The inspiration was the Paul Bird Motorsport Honda RS250 McGuinness raced at his first TT, while the distinctive green number board on the 2026 machine was another period touch reflecting the Lightweight class identification used in 1996.
It was a fitting way to mark three decades for a rider whose name has become intrinsically linked with both Honda and the TT.

McGuinness was responsible for the first 130 mph average lap of the Mountain Course and enjoyed an extraordinary period of TT success on Honda machinery, including his emphatic Senior TT victory in 2015.
Now Honda is giving a very small number of enthusiasts the opportunity to put essentially the same visual package into their own garage.
CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP underneath
The anniversary model is based on the 2026 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP rather than being some thinly disguised road-going version of McGuinness’ actual race bike.
That still gives buyers plenty to play with.

At its heart is Honda’s 999 cc liquid-cooled inline four, quoted at 214 bhp in UK specification, with split throttle bodies and an Akrapovic-developed titanium exhaust.
The current Fireblade also draws heavily on Honda’s racing development, including its RC213V-S-derived swingarm, HRC-developed aerodynamics and six-axis IMU underpinning the bike’s electronic rider aids.
The JM 30th Anniversary treatment then builds on that foundation with the complete 2026 race-replica livery and an individually numbered plaque on the headstock.

Honda Genuine Accessories include a taller screen, seat cowl and HRC oil filler cap, while GB Racing engine covers are also fitted.
Evotech supplies the radiator guard, brake lever guard and paddock stand bobbins.
Metzeler tyres are fitted to the bike, with the original-equipment tyres supplied separately as spares.
A lap of the TT course with McGuinness
Where this package becomes considerably more memorable than most limited-edition motorcycles is what happens when the owner collects it.
Honda will host an exclusive handover event on the Isle of Man where each buyer will meet McGuinness and receive a KYT KX-1 helmet replicating his anniversary design.

The helmet will be supplied in the owner’s preferred size and signed by McGuinness.
Then comes the part that should make even a fairly jaded motorcycle collector take notice.
Owners will have the opportunity to ride their new Fireblade around the complete 37 3/4-mile TT Mountain Course behind McGuinness himself.
For anyone who chooses to do so, their motorcycle’s first significant outing could therefore be around the roads on which McGuinness established so much of his reputation, following the man himself.
A Gee-Tech rear paddock stand carrying the 30th Anniversary logo and a bespoke garage mat are also included.

Fifteen bikes, invitation only
The combination of a 214 bhp Fireblade SP, the highly recognisable McGuinness TT colours and a production run of only 15 would probably have been enough to ensure these bikes disappeared into collections very quickly.
Adding the signed helmet and Isle of Man experience makes the £37,730 package considerably more than another decal-and-numbered-plaque special edition.

Honda has announced the project through Honda UK and the release makes no mention of an Australian allocation.
With sales restricted to just 15 invited customers, however, availability is academic for most people regardless of which side of the planet they call home.
For those fifteen, starting the ownership experience by firing up a brand-new McGuinness replica Fireblade on the Isle of Man and heading out for a lap behind McPint himself should be a difficult first ride to top.
