— Pink Ribbon Motorcycle Ride 2013 – Sunday 13th October
Thousands of motorcycles riders will join Girls Ride Out Inc and sponsor Harley-Davidson in pink this Sunday, 13th October 2013. Taking to the roads for the annual Pink Ribbon Motorcycle Ride in Sydney, the riders will be raising money and awareness for breast cancer research.
Sponsored by Harley-Davidson, the popular annual event is expected to attract thousands of riders and spectators alike. It is run by Sydney-based motorcycle enthusiasts, Girls Ride Out Inc, with all money raised going directly to the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute.
This year’s event will kick off with a Fair Day from 9.00am at The Mean Fiddler, Rouse Hill with food and coffee stalls, a Harley-Davidson photo booth and the Harley-Davidson® JUMPSTART™ Rider Experience. The ride will depart at 10.00am, with riders being joined by celebrity Harley-Davidson enthusiasts, including award-winning Australian actor Aaron Jeffery and television presenter James Tobin.
Riders will then head to a half-way checkpoint at a park on the Colo River for refreshments provided by the local Lions club, before returning to The Mean Fiddler.
