Australian Six-Hour Motorcycle Endurance Championship to run at Phillip Island December 2-4
It has been confirmed today the 2011 Australian Motorcycle Endurance Championship will proceed in a 6 hour format at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on the 2-4 December 2011.
Motorcycling Australia have awarded the rights to PI Operations Pty Ltd to promote the event in 2011.
Speaking on behalf of the circuit Fergus Cameron, the Managing Director, said “We are delighted to ensure this race continues at Phillip Island after the successful inaugural event last year as the Bel Ray 6 Hour Production Motorcycle Race”.
“We are confident we can provide the same level of organisational and promotional skills we apply to all our motorcycle events at Phillip Island and we look forward to establishing a great tradition”.
Speaking of the appointment MA’s CEO David White shared Mr Cameron’s enthusiasm for the appointment.
“Time and time again Phillip Island Operations have demonstrated their abilities in promoting events to a high standard,” White said.
“As such I’m very pleased to announce their appointment to promote the 2011 Australian Endurance Championship and look forward to seeing the event unfold on 2-4 December.”
