Holland readying for World Supersport season
Russell Holland recently took part in a two day test session with his new ECHO CRS Honda Team at Cartagena in Spain last week in preparation for the 20090 World Supersport Championship.
” I am very happy to be able to continue in the World Championship for 2009. I was disappointed with how my 2008 season finished but with this opportunity I will be able to capitalise on the experience I gained in this, my first year.
CRS is a small team with a good initiative and I believe that we can develop together in 2009. Also with a year spent now in the world championship I will do things a little differently between races and I know I will be better prepared come race weekend.
I have to thank the continued support of friends and sponsors in Australia, Europe and Japan who make it possible for me to continue.
I am thoroughly looking forward to the coming year.”
Russell will kick off his bid for the 2009 World Supersport title at the opening round of the season at Phillip Island on the weekend of March 1.
