Larger Size Adventure Boots from Forma
Since Andy Strapz launched them in Oz the Forma Adventure boots have gone off like a frog in a sock. It was no surprise to Andy that people who have bought them in the last couple of years have liked them and praised them for being light, comfortable and easy to wear all day.
Unfortunately a number of Aussie blokes had “plate of meat” that were just too big for the biggest size he could offer.
Forma stepped up to the plate and tooled up for bigger boots. Sizes 38 to 47 are now available in brown or black, and larger sizes 48 and 49 have just landed in brown only.
Buyers can rest assured that if they get the wrong size in the mail they can return them to Andy’s Reply Paid address for the right size.

— Editor’s Notes / Mini Review – I have been using these for the past few months and have done some great trips wearing them. They are the most comfortable motorcycle boots I have ever worn, more comfortable than my road boots, I kid you not. You forget you are wearing boots they are so supple and the cushioning so nice. I have actually been wearing them a fair bit even on road rides of late simply because I find them so comfortable and many of my riding pants still fit over the top.
On the flip side of course there is a price to pay for that unrivalled comfort; they are not as protective as MX boots. Thus dabs of the foot to save front end slides are felt a lot more through the boot and transferred into your foot.
Think of them as a cross between a road boot and a mx boot. Personally, I love them and in almost all instances am happy to trade some of the tough protection of MX boots for comfort, especially when on the trail for a few days. They are comfortable enough to wear to the pub after the ride!
In my experience they are proving waterproof. They did get a bit whiffy from a couple of days riding until I switched to only wearing pure wool socks, now all good. I highly recommend these boots for adventure riding. They are made for that exact purpose, and it shows.
