Akrapovič launch new titanium lightweight adventure footpegs

Akrapovič has taken its lightweight materials expertise beyond exhaust systems with a new Grade 5 titanium adventure footpeg set, now listed locally for a broad spread of BMW, Ducati, Honda, KTM, Triumph, Yamaha and other adventure models.

Akrapovič Footpegs

Akrapovič is best known for high-end exhaust systems, but the Slovenian manufacturer has been steadily expanding its reach into premium motorcycle accessories. Its latest addition is the Adventure Footpeg Set (Titanium), aimed squarely at adventure riders who want a stronger, broader and more purposeful platform underfoot.

The Adventure Footpeg Set uses Akrapovič’s octagonal design and Y-shaped centre reinforcement.

Cast from lightweight Grade 5 titanium in Akrapovič’s own foundry, the new one-piece footpegs have been developed with strength, stability, grip and corrosion resistance in mind. The design uses Akrapovič’s distinctive octagonal shape, with a Y-shaped reinforcement across the platform and central teeth intended to help distribute load and improve boot control.

Akrapovič’s Adventure Footpeg Set is cast from Grade 5 titanium and uses a broad, serrated platform for off-road control.

The wider platform is aimed at riders who spend time standing on the pegs, particularly when riding rougher dirt roads, fire trails or enduro-style terrain. Akrapovič says the shape was developed with both standing and heel-down riding positions in mind, giving riders a more secure base when managing weight transfer, traction and balance off-road.

For road sections and longer touring days, each Adventure Footpeg Set is also supplied with a pair of rubber pads. These can be fitted without tools and are designed to add comfort while helping reduce vibration when riding on sealed surfaces.

The range uses the same core footpeg design across different applications, with model-specific fittings and individual part numbers to suit selected adventure motorcycles. Current Australian distributor pricing lists the sets at $399, with applications covering BMW GS models, Honda Africa Twin, Yamaha Ténéré 700, Ducati Multistrada, Triumph Tiger, KTM Adventure models, Suzuki V-STROM and more.
