Honda CRF450RX Finke Limited Edition
The new Honda CRF450RX Finke Limited Edition celebrates the 50th running of the Tatts Finke Desert Race and David Walsh’s dominant victory for the Peter Kittle-backed Honda Factory Racing Team.
Walsh secured his sixth King of the Desert crown and drew level with Toby Price’s motorcycle record.
The result also delivered Honda its first outright Finke victory since 2013 and lifted the manufacturer’s tally to 21 wins across the first 50 editions of the motorcycle competition.

Built from the CRF450RX platform
Rather than being a direct replica of Walsh’s CRF450R race bike, the limited edition is based on the 2025-model CRF450RX cross-country platform.
Finished in Extreme Red, the special edition receives more than $3500 worth of endurance racing-inspired equipment and cosmetic additions.
The package includes an HGS stainless-steel exhaust system, an IMS 12-litre fuel tank and a commemorative Finke 50th Anniversary SKDA graphics kit and seat-cover package.
The livery takes its cues from the Peter Kittle Honda Factory Racing machinery campaigned at the 2026 event, complete with the familiar red, white and blue Honda treatment and prominent HGS, IMS and team branding.
The 12-litre IMS tank gives the CRF450RX considerably more useful range than the standard competition tank, while the HGS system and full graphics package give the model more substance than a conventional sticker-kit special.
Honda’s announcement lists no changes to the engine, chassis, or suspension specifications, with the Finke edition instead focusing on its long-range fuel capacity, exhaust system, and commemorative presentation.

The Honda CRF450RX Finke Limited Edition will be priced from $16,399 RRP, representing a $1500 premium over the standard model.
With Honda valuing the included accessories at more than $3500, the package should make financial sense for riders who were already planning to equip a CRF450RX with a larger tank, aftermarket exhaust and complete graphics package.
Only fifty machines will be available, and once they’re gone, they are gone…
