Try Honda’s best-selling LAMS models
HART St Ives – February 21

Riders looking to sample some of Honda’s most popular learner-approved machines will have the chance to do so later this month, with Honda Australia Rider Training hosting a dedicated LAMS Test Ride Day at HART St Ives on Saturday, February 21.

The event gives learners and provisional riders the opportunity to ride a wide cross-section of Honda’s Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS) range in a controlled, closed-circuit environment, removing the pressure of public roads while allowing riders to properly assess each bike.

Experience Honda’s innovative new E-Clutch system, which offers clutchless takeoffs and gear shifts.

Bikes Available on the Day

A strong line-up of Honda’s best-selling and most talked-about LAMS models will be available for test rides, including:

  • Honda PCX
  • Honda GB350
  • Honda CB500F
  • Honda NX500
  • Honda CL500
  • Honda CMX500
  • Honda CBR500R
  • Honda CBR650
  • Honda CB650R E-Clutch
  • Honda CBR650R E-Clutch
Experience Honda’s innovative new E-Clutch system, which offers clutchless takeoffs and gear shifts.

From scooters and retro singles to adventure, cruiser, naked, and fully faired sports options, the day is designed to help riders find the Honda that best suits their riding style and future plans.

Riders can also get a taste of Honda’s innovative new E-Clutch system, which offers clutchless takeoffs and gear shifts.  Wayne explains the system well in his review of the E-Clutch-equipped Honda CB650R here.

What You Need to Ride

Participation is straightforward:

  • Riders must hold a valid Learner or Provisional licence as a minimum.
  • Suitable riding attire
  • Pre-booking is essential due to limited spaces

From there, it’s simply a matter of booking in, turning up, and enjoying time on track at the HART St Ives circuit under professional supervision.

A Controlled Way to Choose Your Next Bike

Running on a closed training circuit, the LAMS Test Ride Day allows riders to focus on feel, ergonomics and confidence rather than traffic and road conditions. It’s an ideal environment for learners and newer riders to compare multiple models back-to-back and gain meaningful seat time.

Bookings are now open via Honda Australia Rider Training’s official website:

Places are limited, so riders keen to secure a slot are encouraged to book early.

HART St Ives is situated at 451 Mona Vale Road, St Ives, NSW. View location on Google Maps.
