1234 - What an amazing race! One of the most exciting ever.
1231 - The finishing order - Jamie Stauffer, Fergusson, Allerton, Giles, Holland, D Stauffer, Bugden, Johnson, Etheridge, Wicks, Elliott, Roe, Higgins, Taylor, Williams, Johnson
1230 - Fergusson ahead of Allerton around the back of the circuit... Giles on the back of Allerton as they tip into 11 and 12 and will try to steal third on the line...
1229 - This looks to be Jamie's race to make it a win in Supersport and a win in Superbike to celebrate his return to Yamaha... Last lap now...Jamie did a 1m35.64 on that penultimate lap...
1228 - Jamie just put in a 1m35.7 to pull out 7-tenths on his pursuers... Krusty all over the back of Allerton now and the Honda men may slow each other down a little. Holland got a little too hot into turn one and allowed Giles back through for 4th
1227 - Jamie on it to try and make a gap, Allerton looking the likeliest to bridge the gap and challenge... But Jamie has got a couple of lengths now...
1226 - Holland pushed Giles back to 5th, Jamie leads them onto the main straight... Allerton back under as they tip into turn one, Jamie tries around the outside at turn two and does it as Allerton was too tight on entry, Jamie still has it through turn four... 3 laps to run
1225 - Virtually four wide before they tip into turn one and out the other side it is Allerton from Jamie Stauffer, Krusty, Giles and Holland. Allerton back in front at Honda, Jamie pushed back to 2nd...
1224 - Krusty underneath Allerton on the entry to turn 12 and gets the run on to the straight as he pushes Allerton a tiny bit wide. But Allerton back in front around Southern Loop, Giles pushes ahead of Krusty momentarily but the Honda man gets him right back... Jamie still there stalking from behind... Holland yet to show his hand perhaps but right with them...
1223 - Allerton to the front! Fergusson pushes Giles back to 3rd... The top five absolutely nose to tail now through MG...
1222 - The leading quarter nose to tail down the straight but the Suzuki has mega mumbo happening and he holds the lead, less than half a second covers the top five with Holland tagging on to the back of Jamie...
1220 - Giles leads still and how much power does that GSX-R have! He pulled a half height mono a good 50 yards on to the main straight at well over 200kph and then still maintains the lead all the way down the straight and into turn one... Krusty and Allerton all over the back of him too, Jamie stalking just behind also... Allerton the only man to dip into the 1m35s with a 1m35.8 on that lap
1219 - This is full on action, Gilesy sideways back and forth on entry to turn four, Allerton touches the back of him and thus runs wide but stays up but has to allow Fergusson through...
1218 - Krusty looking for a way through, Gilesy up the inside between 11 and 12 and leads them down the straight... Gilesy back into the lead into turn one, Allerton up to 2nd after getting his team-mate...
1217 - Gilesy back in front now, Fergusson right on him, Allerton up to 3rd and Jamie back to 4th...
1216 - Jamie has a look up the inside at Honda but can't do it, Gilesy nearly gets flicked out of the seat on the way out, Jamie under at the change of direction before Lukey, Krusty on the outside at Lukey and then under at MG to take second place from Giles
1215 - Riders forming up on the grid now... Pole sitter Shawn Giles last man to form up.... Gilesy gets away well and leads them into turn one from Jamie Stauffer, Adam Fergusson and Glenn Allerton with Russell Holland right there also as they go through Southern Loop
1212 - Aussie Superbikes heading out now, it looks as though Jamie is on the 2005 R1 and Dan on the 2006 R1. Hedging their bets no doubt with Dan concentrating on getting the 2006 up to a competitive pace and Jamie out for maximum results on the already sorted machine. Limited time to get two of the new bikes fully prepared could also be part of the reason. Ten laps the distance
